Faris joined JCIF in February 2022 as the Fund’s Chief Executive Officer, bringing with him over 28 years of experience in economics, banking, and investments.

Faris was the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, Chairman & CEO of the Social Security Investment Fund, and Chairman of Islamic International Arab Bank. In addition, Faris served as Managing Director of Emerging Markets at Dubai International Capital, and head of Investment Banking and Capital Markets at Export and Finance Bank.

Faris holds a Master of Money and Banking (MMB), a Master’s (MA) in Behavioral Economics, and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Political Science.

Zaid joined JCIF in March 2022 as the Fund’s Chief Operating Officer, with more than 20 years of experience in consulting and government affairs. Prior to joining JCIF, Zaid was the Director of the Public Private Partnership Unit at the Prime Ministry of Jordan.

Zaid has also served as Managing Director at Magellan Global Director and Private Secretary to the Prime Minister participating in the overall design and implementation of the Prime Minister’s Office. Previously, Zaid served as the Head of Risk at Jordan Dubai Capital. Zaid started his career at the Central Bank of Jordan as a Senior Analyst.

Zaid holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from the American University and Bachelor in Computer Information Systems from the American University. Zaid is also an Eisenhower global fellow.

Mays joined JCIF in September 2022 as an Investment Director, with over 19 years of wide-reaching knowledge and experience in investment banking and private equity. Prior to joining JCIF, Mays was a Director at the SME Investment Fund, where she also represented the fund on the boards of several portfolio companies.

Prior to that, she was Senior Director of Corporate Finance at Capital Investments and Head of Business Development as well as a member of the Senior Management Committee. She has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors of KADDB and Istishari Hospital.

Mays started her career in 2005 where she was part of the Corporate Finance and Equity Research Departments at Jordan Investment Trust PLC. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in finance from Concordia University (Canada), and an MBA from the University of London.

Ruba joined JCIF in November 2022, bringing with her more than 11 years of experience in business valuation, investment banking, financial reporting, and corporate finance. Previously, Ruba was a Manager at Ernst & Young within the Strategy and Transactions team.

Ruba was previously an Assistant Vice President at Capital Investment’s Corporate Finance department. She also held several positions within the Financial Reporting & Analysis departments at Hikma Pharmaceuticals and Aramex.

Ruba holds a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Jordan and is a CFA Charterholder.

Luay joined JCIF in November 2023, bringing with him over 7 years of multi-disciplinary experiences in the areas of investments, corporate banking, and PPP transaction advisory.

Prior to joining JCIF, Luay was an investment analyst at IFC - World Bank Group, supporting governments in structuring and tendering PPP transactions.

Luay is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, and Management from the University of Nottingham.

Hasan joined JCIF in August 2024, bringing with him over 7 years of experience in the accounting sector.

Prior to joining JCIF, Hasan was an accountant at ZADD number and then became the head of finance at Gibran

Hasan holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the Hashemite University.

Nader joined JCIF in November 2022, bringing with him experience in the Banking and Technology sectors, holding the position of Data Scientist at Arab Bank prior to joining the JCIF team.

Nader has previously held a position in the Strategy and Data Mining department at Cairo Amman Bank and was previously a Tax Associate at PwC.

Nader holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Bristol and is a CFA Charterholder.

Noor joined JCIF in January 2023, bringing with her experience in the Banking sector, holding the position of Investment Analyst at Bank Al-Etihad prior to joining the JCIF team.

Noor has previously held a position as Strategy Consultant at Revton.

Noor holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and Management from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and a is CFA Level III candidate.

Haya joined JCIF in December 2023. Haya has completed a rotational internship in the treasury and brokerage departments of the Arab Banking Corporation.

Haya holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bristol.
